چکیده

Citronella grass (Cymbopogon nardus) is a plant containing many metabolite compounds which prevent and treat various diseases, one of cancer. Antioxidant found in citronella have been shown to improve the immune system by increasing cytokines. The activity changing homeostasis generates free radicals. Free radicals causing protein damage so that Heat Shock Protein-70 (HSP70) overexpressed. HSP70 has role as chaperon. Mutations anti-apoptotic are causes This current research aims determine potential present stem anti-cancer through inhibition HSP-70. method was bioinformatics approach, namely in-silico provided simulation binding ligands HSP-70 inhibitor mechanism. results this study indicated there for compounds, spathulenol Spathulenol interact with Hsp70 via positions Thr204, Gly12, Gly203, Thr14, Lys71, Asp10, Val369, Asp199, Val337, Gly338, Asp366, Gly339, Pro365, Glys201, & Glys202 Van der Waals bonds hydrogen on Thr13. In complex, unfavorable bond formed O atom query ligand. From above, it can be concluded compound predicted act an because inhibits site native ligand Hsp70. stability interaction produced allows response activity. By inhibiting inhibitors, possible inhibit formation proliferation cancer cells

Identification of anti-metastatic drug and natural compound targets in isogenic colorectal cancer cells.

UNLABELLED Therapeutic strategies for cancer treatment often remain challenging due to the cumulative risk derived from metastasis, which has been described as an aggressive state of cancer cell proliferation often resulting in failure of clinical therapy. In the current study, anti-metastatic properties of three chemotherapeutic drugs and three compounds from natural sources were investigated ...

Ellagic Acid as a Potential Anti-Cancer Drug

Cancer development and progression occurs when the cells suffers when the molecular network linking proliferation and tumor suppression gets disengaged. But this link plays a vital role in cell regulation and homeostasis. Defects in apoptosis play important roles in tumor pathogenesis, allowing neoplastic, as well as genetically unstable cells, to survive. Moreover, deregulation of apoptosis af...
